I also hate religion lol it’s just a coping mechanism to deal with the awful reality we live in. When I was 9 and already pretty sure I didn’t believe in god I told my cousin “I think gay people are normal and should be able to show their love/get married” and she started bawling because she didn’t want me to go to hell. WTF is a child doing sobbing in hysterics because of religion? Indoctrinating children with religious trauma is shameful and I’ve witnessed enough to never change that stance.
fr, the best part of us growing up was thankfully finding our way out. I had to explain to my grandmother that my brother (trans) didn’t tell her and never visits because of her own actions and words. And that same cousin who bawled for me ended up being Polyamorous and married to a woman and with their other partners combined they have a family of 20+ 🤣 our generation really said “yeah… fuck that”
