even if they dont fully acknowledge it, know that your gift is appreciated. my brother didnt even get my dad a gift/card/anything for fathers day, and my dad seemed visibly upset. i hope your dad is comforted that you care for him enough to get him a gift at all, and im sorry you had to feel like that :/
