Hyper-Individualism is soooo bad for humanity. Yes, actually, we do need to look out for one another and help one another. 'Why would I care, it doesn't affect me' 'Why would I have to do xyz, I didn't personally do anything' etc- HARMFUL.

Humanity can't thrive with a 'I only look out for me myself and I' mentality. We're supposed to all work together to progress and thrive. We were all conditioned with a lethal mindset.

It catches up with everyone in the end too, as the forgotten get desperate and have nothing to lose, so society breaks down and violent crime takes over.

Like at work you clean up messes you didn't make bc if you don't, the venue would just be a chaotic pigsty (and that's your job). SAME WITH SOCIETY. Working on solving existing issues, even if you didn't personally create the issue, is helpful for you and your fellow humans, for instance.
