Uhhhhh you’re not supposed to cold turkey SSRIs like that at all. It can have extreme consequences like seizures and temporary blindness. SSRIs literally change the molecular structure of us and because of that you need to slowly and progressively ween off of them so that your body can get back to its normal homeostatic equilibrium.

I came off lexapro, from a 20 mg dosage, decreasing from 5mg every 2 weeks and it was still hell😭. The worst is being dizzy and not even being able to drive or function and being told, “oh well, there’s nothing we can do” by your primary.

oh girl good luck 😭 worst side effect i’ve had while going thru ssri withdrawal was brain zaps. very strange sensation

Get the prescription refilled then! Don’t get me wrong, I think you should want to be off of them altogether. You just have to make sure to do it correctly and safely

Lmao you’re fine. I once went 5 days without taking my lexapro and nothing like that happened. It takes time but it can occur. The only issue I had is that I felt like literal shit and death
