Why do you believe men should be paying for most things in a relationship? Arnt people in relationships supposed to equals? Relationships don’t exactly have to be transactional, but they are give and take, and the man is most likely to feel used and unwanted for who he is unless your willing to show some reciprocation and effort back in any way(do not misunderstand, I DO NOT mean sex, people tend to think that for some reason when reciprocation for paying in a relationship is brought up)
As a man I would never be in a relationship with a woman who expects me to pay for everything. She’s a grown adult with a bank account, she can buy stuff too. I can pay for some things because I like being nice, but expecting me to pay for most or all things is excessive and ridiculous. I do not want to be used for my bank account
Anyways I just read the paragraph and 1.) the post says "most things" 2.) I'm literally not interested in any man who would feel "used" because I'm not pulling out my credit card every time we go out, I think that's really pathetic and insecure. 3.) we are equals in a lot of ways, in other ways it's 90/10 or 60/40 or whatever for either of us. Paying for things we do together is a 90/10 thing.
