why do you care if someone wants to celebrate their accomplishments? For some people it is that serious.

No I'm not upset with people taking up the opportunity to celebrate, I'm more so complaining about the tradition

I think it’s more about the symbolism of it but other countries don’t put the same emphasis on the tradition
