Literally same met my bf at 280 He’s seen me 100 lbs lighter and the 19 pounds heavier I am now and he’s always thought I was beautiful but the most amazing thing to me was that he’s always liked my personality as well as my body I have always been and will always be emotionally and physically attractive to my bf
I went from 220 to 165 in nearly a year home workout only, repeated stretching legs, arms, shoulder, back until bored~, squatting, jumping 100 then increase to 200 times up and down sans rope, Romanian deadlift no weight, normal deadlift, side lunges to fail, walking with activated core and muscles actually gripping the ground with my toes I am not kidding yes with shoes and sans, vacuums w/ hinge, losing weight seemed hard, just wanted big ass but, dual homicide
Same with me my boyfriend met me when I was 190 hoping to get close or under 150 so far I’m 170 and he mentions how much happier I look cuz I’m finally taking care of myself. Except it always comes to men only hitting on us cuz we finally “look the part of what a woman should look like”.
same with me except the opposite. i was a cardboard box 12 yr old boy lookin 105 lbs when i met my bf and somehow he found me attractive (it was the 12 personalities ig). now ive gained relationship weight and actually have curves so when guys make comments on my body im like yeah this is all thanks to my bf :)
Ugh I literally just made it to 5’0 and I’m 139 currently and it’s actually hell lol 😂 I’m so chubby and I lost twenty pounds the last two months due to stress and lately I ate more the last week so now I’m worried about gaining it back. It’s not good but I kinda wish I was depressed to stop eating
Here me out. I used to feel the same as I was over 200lbs, as a 5’8 woman. Chubbier-but seriously, becoming a server. Best decision. Yesterday I did 20,000 steps and got paid whole time. No need for gym when u get a free workout + money motivation. 😭. It’s made me lose 20 lbs of fat in the last 2 months, while I’m still eating the same way.
Don’t worry about fasting or cutting a bunch of calories—just try to stick to the serving sizes. What really makes a difference is your physical activity, but the key is making it fun. I don’t enjoy the gym, so I became a restaurant server and now get over 10,000 steps a day. That’s my fun. For you, I’d recommend doing what I do on my off days, I do dance workouts with Grow with Jo on YouTube—she’s super realistic and fun. You’ll definitely burn fat with her! PUSH your hardest! You’ll do great.
I hate to be that person, but if you aren’t losing weight on a calorie deficit you aren’t doing it right, you are either not correctly counting your calories, every snack, oils you cook in etc, set your calorie deficit too high, or you aren’t sticking to it long enough to see the results you are hoping for. If you wanna just lose weight, it’s about your calories, if you want to keep muscle too, then track protein and weight train as well
Don’t just look for a quick fix like fasting cause that will likely lead to regaining any weight you lost shortly after you stop. No one can diet forever, so make sure what you do is sustainable in the long run. I’d say eat 2-3 meals a day, low cal high volume food to keep you full, lots of recipes online, make sure to track the ingredients you put in and don’t just go off of what they say the nutrition info will be on the website, it’s work, but it’s worth it
yes love, you are right. If there’s not a calory deficit you won’t lose anything. But I definitely agree that working out/moving to create the calorie deficit rather than depriving yourself of food is key. Because the amount of times people say “I’m on a diet” to end up binge eating. Aim for serving size, but in the end just be active. But hey, I’m not a professional this is just what’s helped me lose 20 lbs in 2 months 🤷🏽♀️.
Same here, about 10 lbs in 2 months for me, heavy weight training and an actual calorie deficit has been what’s finally been working for me. It’s all about your goals but a deficit and some form of exercise are really the biggest things to take care of, then when you get the hang of it you can focus more on other things, congrats on your journey as well!
I have a lot more to say on this topic that would be easier to dm for, so you have questions, I’m more than happy to help, I’m not a professional, but I’ve been doing a lot of research on it and I can honestly say that I’ve seen results without hating my routine, so if you want to talk, I’m here to support you, I just don’t want another person falling victim to another get skinny quick scheme and getting crowd sourced poor information, no offense to some of the commenters on this thread
intermittent fasting 7pm-11pm (16hrs for fat burn), eat heavy meal earlier in day, do 10k steps daily and also workout, prioritize cardio over weightlifting for rn, either eat rlly well or eat less but remain in caloric deficit <1400kcal, i had a shit diet but still dropped weight like crazy so make sure you’re burning a lot plus eat well and you’ll be gold (get a job or hobby in the meanwhile so you’re just busy on exercise, work, eat, sleep, then you’ll wake up 3 months from now a new person)
For context I’m 5’5, and bitch my weight distributes to my upper thigh tummy and arms most. I had a caloric deficit nothing specific just eating less high calorie foods ig and more protein, protein shakes, copious tofu bc I can’t cook tbh, and uh meat meat and more meat. I never denied myself a sweet treat, maybe should have. I’m still going, goal weight is however much I weigh when I can make my girl pecs bounce with my mind
Pls don’t recommend that extreme of a calorie deficit especially when also doing everything else you suggested, it just is not sustainable nor healthy for a lot of people op could easily lose at least a pound a week or more doing 4-5 days of some sort of exercise and a 1700 calorie deficit based on their height and weight given, as I’ve been saying, sustainability is key and learning better eating habits in general is more valuable than quickly dropping weight just to regain it
I want to add that sleeping more helped me sm in losing weight. Like just going to bed early which means u sleep before the cravings hit and then it gives your body more time to digest. I wasn’t losing weight until I started going to bed early but once I did I starting seeing the difference immediately
Anyone disliking his comment needs to get a grip and stop being insecure he's admitted to being "fat" and he's totally right there is a difference between being overweight and being chubby he has every room to talk about it 1 because he can see his flaws and reflect and 2 you can change your weight at anytime you just have to make the effort and steps even if they are small steps
Like I said I’m fat but at the same time I can still function. I do some “fat things” but I’m not a slob and I can still function as a human do things I want to do in athletics and not look gross. There’s too many people nowadays that are morbidly obese and can’t get up off the ground that expect people to call them a 10. Most of the time that’s females though, if you asked my friends they’d probably say I’m a 5 at best and that’s on a good day ask any female to rate Lizzo then say they look
oh well the diet would obviously vary some people can do well off with less or more based on body composition i’m just suggesting less bc 1.4k or 1.5k is standard, ideally though you should eat on a deficit than have one day a week where you can eat more to nourish the body ~2k, and cutting weight will be more than maintaining so id rather cut lots now and work my way back up, to each their own though you have to know your body to know what works
