i’d rather have them in my life and not be conservative. i know that’s not reality and i get what you’re saying but these people were there for me during dark times when my own family wasnt. i called them my sisters and i lived with them at different points. it’s hard to let go and it will never not be heartbreaking but i refuse to interact with conservatives if i have the choice. it sucks bc i’ve also had to go no contact with most of my family for the same reason

if you truly get to know the Lord, you would realize that He would never view women as lesser than or that we have to live our life according to men’s wishes. He just wants us to go to Heaven. even the Bible has been mistranslated and taken out of context so many times regarding these things. i’m so sorry for the experiences you had, modern “Christianity” is horrible sometimes, but those are reflective of religion, not our Lord. Jesus loves you and He wants a relationship with you
