I get it. The job market is trash and what even worse is the previous generation saying they worked so hard so we just need to work hard. Like um no you didn’t have to work two jobs just to survive

and i know my parents mean well and want to help me but it feels suffocating and they do not understand the job market so being told "im not putting in enough effort" starts to piss me the absolute fuck off

Yeah it’s just a generational thing. Last year for my taxes they did come closer to realizing how bad it is cause if they didn’t help I’d be fucked
