It’s interesting how good parents are at destroying self confidence. They had enough to do it and it’s somehow up to you to build yourself up afterwards. The guilt will linger on as if you’re never enough, but it’ll pass.

Like yes the fact they are emotionally manipulative, unhinged, unpredictable, and judgmental makes it THAT much harder to move out at 21 years old. Like believe me I want to be independent I just...can't.
