We are not controlled by Israel. We are heavily invested in their economic development and use them as a military testing ground. Think of them more like an awfully convenient colonial extension of the US that our politicians are personally invested in. Besides that, to shun Israel is to reject the foundation of our own country: settler colonialism.

we pay for their universal healthcare, military, higher education. money is control and we’re sending a shit ton of money over there. that’s not them controlling us. doesn’t really matter either way though

We pay for all of that stuff BECAUSE we are being controlled, not the other way around. Our taxes fund them and in turn they use the AIPAC lobby to fund our politicians. It’s a never ending cycle.
