Hot take but I wouldn’t want to be in a romantic relationship or even friendship with someone that is diagnosed with BPD because its not uncommon for them to lash out, manipulate you, physically hurt you, and more toxic stuff which isnt an excuse…

as someone w mental health issues i never take it personally when ppl don't wanna be w me. i'd rather them spare themselves of the potential hurt i could cause them

having bpd, i understand this completely and can agree to a certain extent but at the same time ive communicated these things w my man so he can understand how to help rather than it being a continuous cycle

My mother struggles with it and it made my life horrible, even when I tried fixing things between us for years; to me, it’s not worth it, even when you mean the best

i agree. i wouldn't want to be with someone mentally ill, and i don't have to be maybe that makes me mean or something but i don't have to date who i don't want to lmao

My ex had it. He was unbearable and ruined me to the point where I didn’t even recognize myself anymore

It can mean both but bipolar is usually called bipolar. BPD is usually borderline
