that doesn’t mean i won’t hold them accountable for or excuse their actions, but it also doesn’t mean that their mistakes will stop me from trying to fight for them. they deserve a chance to make things right, even if they need multiple opportunities. if that person holds genuine love in their heart and recognizes how life can be better, they can change.
