You’re not gay just bc of that. This mindvirus shi is ridiculous. I don’t think it’s healthy as a society that we’re trying to convince every young person that they might be gay. We’ve probably convinced a lot of people that aren’t that they actually are when they’d probably be much happier with their natural biological tendencies

I don’t think people realize how like not casual it is that we’ve been doing that as a society either. Like people seem to think that it’s just this harmless thing but it has some serious repercussions as a society when you take it too far and I think we’ve seen some of it

Although, that’s also actually probably sort of a natural progression that I’m not entirely sure what to make of but it’s probably a real thing that happens to developed economies and societies over time. The sexual dimorphism gradually dissipates from the population and both genders slowly become more androgynous. The women get more masculine and the males get more feminine. No one is trying to convince anyone of anything. OP is reflecting on the way THEY already feel about themselves. Any support that comes after is reactionary, not prescriptive. Imagine if they said instead “I really planning, design and blueprinting. I think i want to be an engineer” and then someone said “Shit man, give engineering a try, you never know” would you say that’s society trying to convince people to be engineers?!?!
