Do yall ever feel like people crowd you up? No matter where you go, people flock around you. Like getting into your personal space. Maybe I’m paranoid but it seriously gets on my nerves, it’s overwhelming.

Disclaimer before I say this — I understand there isn’t meant to be much room in a crowd at a concert. However, I usually stand at the back where it’s super open and people will STILL come right up behind me and step on my heels. And there’s still so much space nearby for them to not fucking do that ???

That is EXACTLY what I’m scared of happening, and why I try to stay in the back and give myself room. I’m 5’4”, hardly any muscle, I would not stand a chance in a crush or stampede. It’s the same reason I try to give space in traffic, so I can get out if I’m gonna be rear ended or if there’s another emergency. And other drivers still try to take the space I leave for the car in front 🫩

I’ve been very close 😭 I am not a confrontational person but there have been some situations where it irritated me so much I almost spoke up. I’ve definitely given people dirty looks and made eye contact while walking away from them. My fiancé will also put himself between me and other people if he notices it happening or I tell him I’m uncomfortable

Honestly it’s usually people who are drunk/on something, so they don’t entirely notice. At the same time though, I’m very aware of invading people’s personal space, even when I’m absolutely blasted, so maybe I shouldn’t give them so much grace about it
