Most assaults are by someone you know, which makes it even harder for people to trust themselves. You need to trust yourself and I know it’s hard but you need to even if that reveals an uncomfortable truth. Consent is consent, anything else is assault.

It’s okay I’m in a similar situation to you. My bf assaulted me too. I was 18 and drinking for the first time and he took advantage of that, and no we didn’t even discuss doing anything beforehand either. I still don’t know how to feel about it ❤️‍🩹 I’m hoping you can find some peace within yourself, I know how it feels to be so conflicted
