Some of them are genuinely delusional to the point of some weird type of psychosis. It literally is cult mentality. Most supporters of his I've spoken to (the ones who weren't just straight up horrible people) are just....so gone. It's kinda eerie. It's like they're under a spell. (I'm a bartender so a lotttt of ppl talk to me about their views)(yes the bar law of no politics is officially out the window atp)

See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. I bet you genuinely believe this too. It's similar to psychosis, in regard to completely losing touch with reality and not being able to process the world around you. Or comprehend much of anything. Or connect dots in a logical manner. It'd be interesting if it wasn't so terrifying.
