I’ve been trying to look for a new job and it’s been such a discouraging and frustrating process. I just got a call back from an interview I had previously saying they won’t go forward with me because I’m “overqualified” for the position 🙃

Dude same, I gave up and decided to apply to masters programs and try again (I graduated undergrad last August), but I got rejected from the mf masters 😭 So now I'm applying to new masters programs and staying at this same shit job, but at least it pays well But it has nothing to do with my degree and is literally killing me 🙃 (high volume bartender + bar manager for a huge entertainment venue)

I sat for at least 13 interviews before I gave up. Some of them told me I was overqualified. Some of them told me I was perfectly qualified, but beat out by seasoned professionals applying for the same entry level job. Some of them told me I would've gotten the job but there were other candidates with super strong connections 🙄 (friends/family of very important ppl) Whatevzies we thug on
