True, like how else can you afford to live all by yourself in this economy 💀

I grew up pretty rich and had all the opportunity and feel behind. I go to a top school, but been struggling severely both socially and academically in large part due to myself never having developed strategies to mitigate my ADHD appropriately. I’m sure I’ll figure my life out eventually, but I have already cut out some possibilities for myself due to poor time management and motivation

“Never get caught comparing where God has you vs where Satan has them” is a quote that somehow has really kept me from letting comparison steal my joy

I’m not saying I deserve pity this was honestly just venting. Things have felt so confusing and uncertain for the past couple years, but thankfully I opened up to my parents about it and they’ve been very supportive since

Yeah, I mean it’s different for everyone but I think generally it’s harder than a lot of people realize

I also have clinical depression so I get you. I try not to linger too much on guilt or feeling like my problems aren’t real, but sometimes it’s hard

don’t discredit the people who are doing it lmao. There are people working 2+ jobs to provide for themselves.

The depression that comes with being a first gen with very little real support has been kicking my ass too. And keeping a part time job as a full time student is brutal

THIS!!! Because my family technically isn’t poor enough and they both have incredibly shitty credit scores so the interest on my loans is insane.
