if you’re a woman that values traditional gender roles, I don’t think you’re self-hating or weak-willed or incapable or a sexist. you’re probably just really dumb.

because when you get fed shit and get told to like it, you ask for a second helping, and I don’t know what else to call you

the “pro” is mostly a bizarre emotional satisfaction from feeling like you “fit in” with a lifestyle created mayyyybe 100 years ago in a very specific time and place that has nothing to do with you, but provides this vague sense of “traditionalism” and nostalgia that make you feel like you’re living life more “correctly” than others. how am I doing?

And why does that equate to low intelligence? I mean do what makes you happy within reason

because the thing that makes you happy was specifically and only invented to oppress women, and they’ve somehow convinced you to like the oppression.

Yet there is something about doing the natural role you are good at. Evolution wise women were gatherers and cared for the children and men were the hunters and protectors. Isn’t that just the same thing? Doesn’t really seem like oppression at least to me

yeah see this is what I mean. it’s not the “natural role you are good at”. People just told you that and you believes it at face value. You’re also totally wrong by the way, in a lot of indigenous cultures, the roles are either shared or reversed. So in short, you literally don’t know what you’re talking about.

Yeah that is fair I was only taught what I was taught in school so I’ll look more into it. You could avoid being rude about it.

well literally billions of women have had their lives and agency stripped away over the years using the same justification that you’re providing, so no, I think I’m actually okay with how rude I’m being. maybe think about things a little more deeply than “what I learned in school” before developing opinions on the right/wrong way to live life

Well the great things are opinions aren’t right or wrong. Also rude is kind of an understatement. More of a colossal asshat. Also didn’t know me having that opinion caused billions of women to essentially ruined their lives. I alone caused that. I should really just be put down. Like shotgun straight to the head.

Also there is no right or wrong way to live life. There’s not a one size fits all. Everyone is on a different path
