i don't understand why you wouldn't want to date two people who love you + each other at once if it was an option. anyone care to explain why they prefer keeping their relationships just one on one?

here's my perspective as someone who prefers more than one partner: it's very complicated if you're serious. i think in the society we live in, dating more than one person is easiest if you're young and having fun. once you're an adult and have to consider what's in everyone's economic best interest, it's hard to make it work. it requires too much sacrifice. not all three of you will have the best career or housing opportunities in one city. + the legal complications of starting a family

Bc monogamous idk how poly ppl do it like there is no way both ppl ur dating get the same amount of love and attention like that’s just not a thing

i know i just said it's hard sometimes having two partners but it is pretty easy to give them equal attention, lol. especially if you live with your partners. that might be the simplest part.
