If you kill a spider or any animal simply because its presence makes you uncomfortable I immediately think less of you. Idc if you have a phobia. Just because your fear is irrational doesn’t mean you can’t think rationally in making your decisions

If you kill an animal bc it makes you uncomfortable. Mosquitos also do that.

Right but mosquitos physically harm me and are one of the main terminals for disease. A spider isn’t harming me simply by existing, actively reduces mosquito populations, and most spiders can’t even break human skin

if a spider bites you, by all means, kill it. harm isn't the same as "ew it's creepy". you shouldn't kill any animal just cause you think it's weird or gross, but there are instances where it makes sense to kill something.
