Young child got suspended for telling his teacher her breath stinks. Well don’t suspend the student make the teacher sort her stinky breath out.

Is it worth suspension… definitely not unless this is a repeated issue with the child however it’s one of those things where most of the time children are not saying things to be helpful they’re saying things to be hurtful so telling the teacher her breath stinks (we don’t even know if her breath actually stinks) was likely not an act of kindness on their end

The kid doesn’t need suspending, the teacher needs oral suspension

If you have a teacher with shitty breath and she’s talking right in your face you have the right to tell her her breath stinks. Stinky breath is fucking disgusting

Ok yeah I haven’t seen the picture tbh but I do still like to give people grace especially with hygiene for a couple reasons - lack of education on newer hygiene products/method (this is more so for cleaning), lack of resources (this could include health insurance or financial means to afford specific products that may be required for better treatment), or it could even just be how they were raised growing up and no one has ever addressed that issue with them. I still stand by my main (cont.)

point though that the child was likely not intending to be helpful by commenting on the bad breath and it was said out of frustration to be hurtful or disrespectful. I had a teacher with bad breath but the only time I ever noticed or cared was when I would get in trouble. That’s just my opinion and I still believe suspension is unreasonable (again unless this is a repeat issue)
