I used to be like this so I totally get where your coming from but I changed because I realize it’s much simpler to meet with someone and first decide if you even like what it feels like to be around them instead of finding out after you’ve already been texting for month(s)

They love to ghost when they realize u were being serious. I’m upfront almost immediately and most of the time they give up by day 3. Only one guy on here has kept up conversation and flirting for a few weeks. I might actually give him my number now

My older sister actually was telling me about a study she saw that meeting someone online as a guy, you shouldn’t spend more than like 4 days (of actual good conversation and such) talking to someone before meeting them in person because that messed with your expectations of someone and sets you up for disappointment. On the other hand, I think for women it was like a week.

Haha idk why I’m getting downvoted for this. Butthurt men? I’ve been raped before, I absolutely will not meet someone I don’t actually know just to get laid. Even guys irl can put up a front for a few weeks/months and be completely different and harassing on the first date. God forbid someone needs that patience to determine if someone’s safe to be around.
