Sure, but that’s not who i’m talking about. There are a lot of people who call themselves republicans simply because they share a handful of beliefs with that party but are actually just fiscally conservative and socially liberal. My dad calls himself a republican because he hates big governments and wants ours to be smaller and less controlling. But if you ask him about gay marriage, he says “i don’t care who people marry, as long as it doesn’t affect me”. This is what i’m talking about.
