I get that but also it’s just tiring. Like idk how much longer can I put my energy into dating when I just never get any of it back. Ik I’m being a pessimist, but it’s really exhausting.

Honestly I haven’t tried in years. I just gave up a while ago. It feels like there’s no point in trying when nothing will come of it. The energy is best spent elsewhere

That’s how I need to be, honestly. I’ve been considering giving up on trying, at least for a while. It has just absolutely sucked the life out of me. Dating is supposed to be fun :(
