Autistic folks, anybody else struggle with the textural stuff during sex? Like I really have this kind of adverse reaction to fluids and such and sometimes it feels like too much. She’s super cool though I like her a lot

what part is too much? you can keep a wet and dry washcloth near if you need to wipe up or dry anything. i don’t like a lot of extra moisture or spit when i’m kissing or giving head

Sometimes the warmth and touch can be overwhelming and I find the lubrication texture a little slimy and unpleasant. I imagine it will get better

I would love to get to that point! Need to overcome the feeling of not wanting any of that near my mouth

do you enjoy masturbating? if so, how do you get around the textures, stimulation, and wetness that comes from that? maybe you can emulate that with sex. because the wetness, warmth, touch, and stimulation is everything there is about sex in my experience. so i personally cant picture what sex could look like without those elements. i don’t think it be dry, colder, and without so much touch and stimulation. i wouldn’t be sex i think. but it’s ok to not like sex

i think its ok for people to be overwhelmed sometimes without it meaning they shouldn’t be having sex

they said they don’t like basically everything about sex, it’s not ridiculous to suggest asexuality lol

Really appreciate it-yes I have considered asexuality and I think I might exist in that neighborhood. I do love the feeling of closeness and would love to work through some of this so I can have a fulfilling relationship, so I’m hopeful that over time it will just feel less overwhelming. Trying to get into therapy too honestly

i hope it gets better and your therapist gets you closer to where you want to be! 😊 you can definitely have a fulfilling relationship with lots of physical closeness without sex. i hope you figure out what’s best for you and your partner
