You yearn to be yearned for. You want someone to be REALLY down bad for you. Probably also you've felt VERY strongly for at least one person in the past who didn't return your energy. Your ego wants its wound to heal, and you yearn to be desired like that.

Okay thanks for flaying me alive like that. Oh and yes you’re also correct about liking someone back who never noticed me. I was head over heels for a guy YEARS ago and I still think about him occasionally. He did not like me back, but he at least helped me determine what my type in men is :/
