call me crazy but is cheating on a partner really THAT bad…like it sucks and no one should do it, but destroying someone’s entire life over it is wild, it’s different if you’re married and have kids ofc

I don’t disagree tbh. Like if your gf/bf cheats that’s worth a “fuck you” and an immediate breakup, but I’m not smashing someone’s windows or trying to get them fired. It’s definitely more warranted if it’s a marriage with kids though, because you’re betraying the kids too, and a divorce can be financially devastating.

You can sue for assets within the relationship and for child custody. It’s not a crime, it’s just relevant to the context of a spousal relationship.
