
👀 Ykw, I won’t gatekeep haha… let your red kidney beans sit over night (raw beans are better than canned imo) .. brown your andouille sausage (or Louisiana hot links can do). Chop up yellow onion, celery, green bell pepper and garlic. Throw everything in a slow cooker on high with some olive oil, water (pretty much at level with the food), slap ya mama Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, thyme, oregano and bay leaf.
You can do what I did and let it slow cook all day while at work then pressure cook it for 30 minutes, or pressure cook for 2-3 hours until the beans are done… also, I didn’t have a hand blender to thicken the sauce so I used a lil slurry of corn starch to thicken it.. but it’s better to blend the beans a lil to make it THYICK
