I’ve just heard women and feminists make the argument that it’s empowering because they’re making money from doing it. But I just don’t get that at all. They’re degrading themselves and doing these things for men’s pleasure in the end. And if it’s leaked, then the men don’t even have to pay any money. They get to see their whole bodies and everything with just a flex of their fingers and don’t have to give anything in return. I don’t understand how it’s empowering at all

Im a woman who has literally spoken to girls who have literally been in the industry and they would agree with it. It ruined their idea of intimacy overall because they only see it now as something to gain monetary value. The whole “it’s for us” thing is total bs you know the market you are selling to it is not empowering to sell to men who don’t give a shit if you live or die and ask you to do degrading things to please them

Saying it’s empowering is mainly just a cope imo. The real reason for a lot of girls is they see other girls on social media being like “guys I made 4 mill just today” which is also a lie btw they inflate the numbers and have false hope that it’s going to give them a lot of money meanwhile the most they will probably make is 200 bucks a month

Exactly! I’m a man and I just feel like it’s grasping at straws. It’s not empowering. It’s bending the knee to men and the patriarchy because you need money. It reminds me of that one scene from The Office where Jan is breastfeeding out in the open and Kevin is watching her. Jan eventually gives up and says “you know what Kevin, you can go ahead and watch because this is totally natural” and then Kevin says “ok” and he continues to just stare at her. And then Creed joins in.

And eventually Jan gets uncomfortable. So in the end she just gave them what they wanted. They didn’t care, they got what they came for. It’s the same concept. “Oh well you’re paying us money” oh well you’re putting a price on your body. The people who pay don’t care about that. If they did they wouldn’t be there in the first place. It’s not for you—it’s for them. You’re tricking yourself into believing it’s empowering. It isn’t. It’s the opposite.

It’s a lose-lose then. Unless you’re making literal BANK you’re losing your dignity for nothing. That’s out there forever, for your kids, your family, forever. When you’re old and withered at 82, it’ll still be there. And then will it really be worth it?

AT LEAST with prostitution that’s actual sexual acts. That’s a little different because that’s real. The men are also involved. With this it’s just a fat slob sitting on his couch scrolling through your reels and not having to do anything.
