In short: metabolism! It doesn’t “speed up” your metabolism or whatever influencers want to say. But adequate sleep can actually improve satiety/hunger hormones, causing you to eat less and be more comfortable in a cal deficit. Plus, sleeping enough gives you enough energy to consistently exercise!
Make conscious decisions, one day at a time. Grilled instead of fried foods, lower carb intakes (my biggest two enemies were buns and tortillas). Basically you have to cut out chips, which was hard cause I used to fuck up a chipotle bowl w chips. My biggest thing is access, so I stopped keeping around a bunch of unhealthy shit so I was more obligated to eat better until I got used to it. Cardio is king, truly. Even going on a walk every day will improve your mood and health. You got this bro.
