I’ve talked to men about this. Men cannot be strictly friends with women. The only reason they are friends with you is because they are physically attracted to you in some way. And you probably didn’t notice bc you did see them as only a friend. It’s happened to me with every guy friend I’ve had. I’m no longer friends with guys anymore bc of it. That’s just my take tho!!

I’m not saying it is but also I will say it’s extremely hard to find guys to be friends with cause ik a lot of people who go into friendships with the right intentions of just staying friends but then end up catching feelings and also if you’re attractive it will be harder for you to find good guy friends
