It bothers me that people treat their children like property and have absolutely no fear of treating them however they please with no regards to how it may permenantly scar them. I believe that people who justify hitting kids in any capacity stems from an anger issue/mental problem that needs to be corrected, and that the act itself must have as much gravity and dread prescribed towards it as we treat severe crimes.
