I understand, but many people decide to get pets before they have kids I guess to understand somewhat of what they might be getting into. Granted they most definitely are muchhhh different from each other but… the things they do have in common. You can raise them from birth as a baby, gotta feed them constantly, house them, train them, get them check ups, make sure they are healthy if you ever want them to have kids, etc soo I can somewhat see why
