The issue largely isn’t whether immigrant criminals should be punished or deported. The issue is whether you believe immigrants are a significant source of murders, child molestations or other crimes, and people that disagree with you just wonder WHY TF you think they are, if you’re not getting it from your inside group or biased media? Justifying 3rd-world treatment of an entire group of people based on skin color as a result of a small number of criminals is ridiculous.

Pew research estimates that as of 2023 there are nearly 14million illegal immigrants in the United States. If you look at dhs records- even dating back to the Obama administration, they give you numbers that have committed ADDITIONAL crimes to crossing the border illegally. Not all of them are violent, some of them are failure to appear in court. But let me be clear, a citizen would be arrested for something like that. People who are here illegally get deported 🤷‍♀️ that’s how the world works

This is most tone deaf response. According to the DHS own statistics 85% has no criminal history other than traffic offenses. Only 5% has violent offense and most people would be fine if you deported that 5% granted they have due process but that is not what ICE is doing. They are going to schools, hospitals, and peoples jobs to attack these people. Have some empathy and remember being here illegally is only a civil offense and they are people too.
