Each member of the Central Park 5 independently confessed to the crime. They were covered in blood and semen, they were seen directly at the crime scene, made incriminating statements about the attack to friends, and their entire purpose in the park that night was attacking people. Just because there was a 6th attacker and rapist doesn’t preclude their very clear involvement. Which is exactly what the 2002 commission which reviewed the case and the initial investigation said. Guilty as hell

You do realize that they were beaten, dragged off the street, coerced into a statement, not to mention they were underage and were not presented with a lawyer or an adult, which, by the way, is illegal to do for minors, and on top of that, one of the boys couldn’t even read, and they still put him on the stand.

And their DNA didn’t even match. But the orange fat man, who I’m pretty sure is your favorite president, called for the death penalty on those five boys and still has not issued an apology.

It’s tough to respond to just blatant lies. There is not a single shred of evidence to support any coercion or improper behavior by the police. In fact, the 2002 commission that review the initial investigation said the exact opposite. Those suspects made statements to police both before the formal investigation and during incriminating themselves with knowledge of the crime that at the time the police weren’t even aware of. The courts never found any issue with the interviews either.

The guilt and the overwhelming evidence against the central part 5 have nothing to do with Trump. I’m not saying Reyes didn’t rape the victim. I’m saying he wasn’t the only one who participated. We know they were at the crime scene at roughly the same time of the attack based on witnesses, they had friends to testified they made incriminating statements about the attack, other witnesses and victims of the Park5 came forward they were also brutally attacked. This was their MO.
