no it’s not a gendered thing at all imo just some people are funny but i will say people are more likely to humor men and pretend they’re funny when they’re not

Taylor Tomlinson’s pretty funny, but also tv show ppl like Alison Brie, Lisa kudrow, Aubrey plaza; Jennifer Lawrence and Emily Blunt aren’t comedians but I would say they’re both pretty funny, there’s def more male comedians partly because I think men tend to need comedy in their lives as an emotional release more than women do, women usually have more methods to express themselves than men do, that’s why men who have a close bond laugh at each other and roast each other more than women
