😭 yes any color treatment will have an effect on the strength, sheen, and overall quality of your hair it is not worth it especially to go from black->brunette. keep in mind that just because you’re used to your hair doesn’t mean everyone else is used to it

girl you’re pretty and i don’t wanna assume that you’re dyeing it for attention but i’m going to. It’s beautiful as it is now, and it is beautiful to the rest of us. You could get bangs or a bob that would be fun and new and different from your usual look without doing a ton of damage. Depends how much you value length
