I have a family member that recently had a kid but never should have. She got pregnant for the attention, but all throughout her pregnancy she drank and smoked. She also wasn’t even 20 when she had her kid, and she didn’t have a job, drivers license, or stable home. She was raised by a woman that should have never had kids, and she did the same but maybe worse. They’re providing for the baby and everything, but she is using that to go out and not spend time with the kid at all.

sounds js like my ex gf. she had a crazy manic episode after we broke up. she fucked 3 of our coworkers (bc i helped her get a job), got pregnant w a guy she was dating for a month, and quit her job. she used to shit on her mom for having her when she was 19, meanwhile this girl turned 20 about 4 months in. she told me she was diagnosed bipolar, but doesn’t take her meds. she’s also got a terribly narcissistic personality and (from what i’ve learned as a psych major) should probably be-

evaluated for bpd. my fear for her lil baby was strong enough to push me from planning to become a therapist into occupational therapy in a school, and ended up with me taking the path to teaching
