I say that if u find a man who’s worth it, you’ve made a fulfilling career. you have the opportunity to still do what u want to do and if u end up hating it, you could always go back to work.

I mean it’s better as a woman to make sure that you’re financially well-off yourself in case u ever needed to get out of a marriage. so probably the need for independence

That’s not what I inquired about of course independence is great but OP wasn’t talking about that. I’m asking OP if that’s their purpose why aren’t they, did they try to do so or what’s stopping them?
