i think this is sweet. it’s stupid to act ignorant about your kid discovering sex because all it does is make them sneak around and feel uncomfortable bringing it up to you. the one and only time i had a pregnancy scare, i felt comfortable calling my mom and talking to her about it because she had created a space where sex wasn’t taboo. it was such a good convo that alleviated so much of my stress that i got my period the next day lmao

Maybe they don’t necessarily support the act, but that they know it’s better to be open with your kids and encourage them to be safe than being unsupportive and the kid being secretive and risky.
