My dad is white, my mom is black. My dad, who grew up in a predominantly white and conservative area has had to admit that racism much more rampant than he thought it was after being with my mother

Bro be so fr, give me an example of genuine systemic racism happening today. Like what specific laws, articles, systems, or processes allow unfair treatment. Like the actual law allows racism from the system

- schools with more black students have more police officers than mental health professionals, meaning literal children are accustomed to being disciplined by law enforcement rather than receiving actual help - multiple empirical studies have shown how those with “black/foreign-sounding names” are less likely to receive employment despite same or greater qualifications - redlining, which is textbook systemic racism

also since it’s currently an active political topic: white immigrants experience significantly fewer barriers than any other race. this goes for both undocumented and documented.

There are police officers, because all stats show, that predominantly black schools have on average more gang and violent activity. I agree that they do also need mental health professionals, yet at the same time you cannot compare law enforcement to a mental health professional lol😂 and is it possible that people with foreign sounding names could also be non completely well versed in their English and employers also know this—which could impair their job or how they work with others?

Assuming that someone with a “foreign name” might suck at their job is racism…

I’m not saying suck at their job but being in a prominently English speaking country and not being able to speak English very well it very much going to impede someone’s job whether they are capable of doing so without the challenge or not💀😂

Assuming they can speak English and you know like are able to work with others without having to take 5 minutes to use the translate each time 😂at least in jobs where the English language is you know needed

Yes but a majority of people can’t and it’s not even an accent but the inability to actually form sentences and you know find the correct words to use
