I don't necessarily agree lol like I am an ally I also just don't have to live my life on hard mode so why would I voluntarily choose to do that?

why are trans people so obsessed with dating 😭 no other group uses attraction as a means to judge whether or not someone is an ally

I feel like it kind of depends person to person with how hard it can be? Like dating my ex (trans girl) was super rough on my mental psyche because of how much I had to do to help her through her depression and suicidal thoughts. Meanwhile my fwb (transmasc nonbinary) is super chill to be around and has been very helpful in recovering from that previous relationship.

Like I guess what I’ve found with me in particular is that I really vibe with trans people (hence why my friend group is primarily trans and so is my dating history) but I have just been completely drained of my wherewithal to deal with mental health crises. So while I’d love to date more awesome trans people in the future I feel like the mental health stuff might make that harder.
