So I went to the Walmart gas station yesterday and paid $35 for 87 and USAA tells me that I was actually charged $100.00 even! What should I do?

give it like 2 days. it’s probably a holding charge. that’s what happens when i get gas usually and it’ll be $100 or $120 and then corrects itself to whatever i spent

I would go to that Walmart and be like I bought this much gas but was charged this

I don’t really have proof bc I never get a receipt but it should be obvious that 87 doesn’t cost that much right? And my tank was only half full

this is how buying gas with a debit card works. when it switches from pending to posted, it’ll be for $35

I will say that I actually go to this exact gas station, same location, at least once a week, and this has happened to me 3x so far, and it always fixes itself after a day or 2.
