Yeah, no, spirits and god aren’t real. Sleep paralysis is a misfiring in the brain, often during REM when most dreams occur. You’re fine.

That’s your opinion. To act like science has “settled” the claim of God being real is disingenuous. God and spirits are outside of the physical realm so science, observing physical things, cannot make a factual claim about God’s existence

Cool, they’re not real.

Even if you don’t believe in God, spirits are definitely real. How else do mediums and possessed people know things they have no way of knowing?

Because they’re party tricks that are rehearsed and psychological play comes into the mix. 🤣 Next you’ll say that Jack Coe actually healed people of polio and knew strangers in the audience without any help.

Party tricks? There are so many people who have personal experiences with possessed people and mediums knowing crazy details about their life. How do you know God isn’t real? There’s a reason it’s so debated, there’s not a “proof” either way

Except there is because 1) there’s countless mythologies, yours is not any more special than the others, 2) every branch of science applicable to biblical history has disproven the nonsense, 3) spirits and possession and mediums are not real, this has been debunked time and time again.

1. There existing many religions doesn’t necessarily make mine wrong, that’s faulty logic. And it certainly is way different from every other one - can explain more if u need 2. That’s absolutely untrue there’s tons of high profile scientists who are christians 3. Also just not true. How do you “debunk” possession?

Scientists being christian doesn’t mean your ark is real, the “kinds” and young Earth creationism are an impossibility, your religion is one of tens of thousands of denominations of the same abrahamic myth amongst millions of other gods, all just being stories. Grow up. And possession is debunked because it’s not possession. Ever heard of mental health issues? Ever heard of seizures? Wow! 🤯

Look into “cold reading”. That’s how your beloved pretend-ghost-whisperers “contact” your “spirits”. Anyone can learn it.

But your claim was science has “repeatedly disproven” Christianity. That’s just false. There are well-educated Christians in every field of science, so clearly they aren’t inherently incompatible. And you’re assuming that a literal reading of Genesis is the only possible reading, that’s just not true.

Cool them buying into belief doesn’t mean the bible’s been proven. It’s been repeatedly disproven. All the bullshit people say is literal, disproven. Resurrection, walking on water, turning water to wine, cities being destroyed and people turned to salt, two people populating the planet, none of that happens, it never has.

If there was in fact a God above the laws of nature He created, wouldn’t he by definition be able to make miracles happen if He wanted to? I’d love to hear this alleged proof against the Resurrection. I didn’t say the Bible has been proven per se, I think logic makes it reliable though. Just said that science does not and cannot “disprove” it.

*Performs miracles for a few years and then just disappears for good* 😂 People don’t just die and come back to life— not in the time that was said to happen. Y’know, the lack of medical care will do that to someone. Three days rotting doesn’t change. It just becomes four and more days of rotting. Nothing in your bible is really logical. It’s actually disturbing. Santa isn’t real and you moved on just fine learning that. Time to grow up.

You can keep hallucinating and denying reality. That’s up to you. Just make sure to put the fiction books down once in a while. Life is a lot brighter when you aren’t told you’re a failure or corrupt for being born. Happy healing!

Even secular scholars agree Jesus was crucified publicly by the Romans. There are non-Christian historians from around this time that report his existence. If Jesus was in fact God and did have dominion over all laws of nature like we claim, wouldn’t he be capable of this? I really don’t get this claim - we aren’t claiming this was a logical thing we’re claiming it was spiritual and supernatural, and that’s a claim science cannot take on by definition
