because the guys in romance shows are exaggerated and, at most, false. you have to understand that what you’re watching is fiction.

Because that would require caring about women and a lot of the guys we see (we as in OP and I at least, because obviously plenty of girls see a different scene) just don’t do that

1. Hollywood 2. Most guys aren’t raised that way (unfortunately) 3. Most of them don’t get it 4. There still are plenty, that saying about a few bad apples applies here 5. The same thing can be said in reverse, like anything ever 🤷‍♂️
