Just wrote a crude will on my refrigerator whiteboard because I went to urgent care saying I was coughing up blood and they told me to drink more water

It’s important to be clear here. If blood is going down the back of your throat from your sinus, then it’s just a bloody nose. But, if the bleeding is originating from your actual lungs, then you are in serious condition and need to immediately go to the ER.

I don’t think it’s coming from my lungs I think it’s coming from my tonsils. Like if I use a sinus rinse and then try to cough it up, it helps.

Ok, so that’s probably just a blister or a cut on your tonsils. Still important to bring that up with your doctor, but that is significantly less dangerous than your lungs bleeding, obviously. I had bleeding tonsils when they both got infected and they were removed because of it. I think most people get them removed because they are so susceptible to infections and other issues
