So I fear that maybe this message is coming across as I want a man to control my life, but that is not all that I am saying. I want a man in my life who can hold responsibility and weight in the relationship, whereas i feel like i have found men who i have to mother. Those dynamics make me feel like a dictator and very unhappy, and does not really allow myself to be the soft person i prefer to be. So im saying this in a secure way, not a “i need my life controlled” way. Hope that clears it up!

Nope, the point of feminism is the ability to choose what life you want. I am aro/ace so I’m not interested in a relationship so I will be supporting myself. Women who want to be SAHMs and be taken care of by their partners are completely valid
