I almost fell into the trap of a guy 8 years older recently, and I feel guilty about it too. But you did nothing wrong. He tried to take advantage of you, so there’s no reason to feel bad because that’s on him. But either way, you didn’t end up together, and that’s for the best. We can look for people closer to our own age who are in similar places in life :)
